Spiaggia Rossa

Posted from Sardinia, Italy.

The Pink Beach lies on the south east tip of the island of Budelli, which is one of the many small islands that make up the Arcipelago della maddalena.  These tiny islands lie between Sardinia and Corsica at the eastern end of the Bonifacio Strait and make for one of the most beautiful cruising grounds in the world, with great winds thrown in.

Can you think of a more idyllic way to relax in the sun, than anchored off this carefully preserved pink coral beach sipping a cockpit cocktail?

… and yes, I did take this picture on my little canon compact camera!
